22. September 2011 – Lean Institute ® Germany has realized a new training approach for a leading manufacturer (electrics industry) in France.

The training in French language is qualifying the middle management (“management de proximité”). Middle management is essential for a sustainable access when implementing lean methods. The key role of middle management comes from being in-between the management objectives (top-down) and operator objectives (bottom-up). The training shows (6 Modules with practical exercises in-between the modules) that this approach is a clearly better approach than delegating lean solely to a specialized “workshop team” or “operational excellence manager”.
There are too many potentials at “Gemba” that neither lean organization nor management can resolve all the problems alone.

Standardized problem solving must be installed at the middle management level including the operational teams! Training is available in German, English, French and Italian language.
